A Message From Chrystia Freeland

My fellow Canadians, I deeply cherish the vibrant, bustling trade flowing across our incredibly secure border, and I want you to know, with all my heart, that I take Trump’s threats very, very seriously—because we’re in this together. Yet, with Trump’s tariffs looming large, we recognize the challenges Canadians face – especially those delightful grocery bills that keep us all so delightfully on edge. We’re working together to deliver for Canadians – especially our dear, valued truckers who keep our border so lively – and we’ll continue delivering with robust resolve, because nothing says robust like tackling the fentanyl crisis with our signature Canadian spirit. Robust action is needed, and we’re here for Canadians every step of the way, nodding sympathetically at your affordable rent and homeownership dreams.

We’re moving forward together, working hard every day to build a stronger, fairer future – particularly for our thriving tent cities and growing homeless population. Canadians deserve better, and we’ll continue delivering with robust budgets that gracefully balance themselves, and increase your taxes so that we can put more money into your pockets. We’re listening to Canadians every step of the way, building bridges, not walls, and delivering real results to ensure a bright future for all.

Because we’re in this TOGETHER, and DIVERSITY is our strength.

We’re stepping up for Canadians, and together, we can do this – our unity shines through every colorful tent throughout our vibrant homeless communities. We’re keeping our promises, building back better for every fentanyl-free neighborhood, and putting more money into the pockets of 8 out of every 10 Canadians – with signature tax policies that have now made home ownership  incredibly affordable and attainable for all Canadians.

Our focus is on delivering results. Canadians can count on us, just as they count on our self-balancing budget – and we will keep delivering on what matters. Canada’s strength is our shared priority, shining brighter every day with every hopeful trip to the grocery store and every swift, compassionate visit to our world-class healthcare system.
